ACT & SAT Test Prep

Michigan ACT & SAT prep that raises scores

One-to-one prep built from a real diagnostic, so your student works on the sections that actually move their score. In-home, at our centers, or online across Michigan.

How prep works

Prep that targets the points your student is leaving on the table

Score gains come from spending time on the right sections. Here is how we find them and turn them into points.

01

Start with a real diagnostic

Every student begins with a full-length, officially scored practice test. It shows exactly which sections cost the most points, so prep time goes where it moves the score, not where it is comfortable.

02

Content and strategy together

We rebuild the underlying math, grammar, and reading skills while teaching the timing, elimination, and guessing strategy the ACT and SAT actually reward. Both matter, and most programs only teach one.

03

Measure progress by the score

Regular checkpoint tests keep progress honest. You see the score trend, the sections still worth targeting, and when your student is ready for test day.

★★★★★
"Because of his patient and knowledgeable help, she gained 4 points on the ACT retake and raised her senior math grade. The math scores showed the greatest improvement, which is significant since that was the area where she had the greatest anxiety. The extra 4 points on the ACT helped her get a scholarship."

"My daughter is not a very good test-taker, so we sought the help of College Tutors to help boost her score. It worked! After tutoring, she re-took the ACT, improved her score, and is now enrolled at her #1 pick school. I would highly recommend your service to any parent who wants to help give their child an edge."

Questions

ACT & SAT prep, answered

Should my student take the ACT or the SAT?

Most Michigan students do well starting with the ACT, since it is the test many took through their school, but the right choice depends on how your student reads, works through math, and handles pacing. The free diagnostic makes the answer clear instead of a guess.

How many points can test prep realistically add?

It depends on the starting score and how much time is left, and we never promise a specific number. What we can say is that families here routinely see multi-point ACT gains, and even a few points can move a student into a new scholarship bracket.

When should we start prepping?

A good rule is to begin two to three months before the target test date, with time for at least one checkpoint test along the way. If a deadline is closer than that, we build a tighter plan around it. The earlier you start, the more room there is to raise the score.

Do you offer a free practice test?

Yes. Your first official practice test is free and in person, and it becomes the baseline for the whole plan. It is the simplest way to see where your student stands with no commitment.
